Arran Bawa

COACH

Hi, my name is Arran Bawa. I am 23 years old and have been a personal trainer for 6 years. I am based in Wolverhampton and have worked with over 80 clients within the local area since starting my career in the fitness industry.

Having never really had much interest in exercise and health this was never a career I had in mind, but after turning 16 I decided I wasn’t happy with my physical appearance and  started to take some interest into what I was eating and decided I would start going to the gym. Within 4 months of making these changes I had lost 3 stone and was feeling much more confident in my appearance and better overall general health and well being.

Making this decision to change my life and pursue a career in the fitness industry has led to many opportunities for me. At 19 years old I summited Kilimanjaro at 19,341ft with my dad and three other friends raising over £50,000 for Promise Dreams and Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Two years later we completed another challenge to reach Everest Basecamp at 17,600ft again raising money for both charities. I have also led an 8 person team of clients in 2019 to complete a local event known as Tough Guy, a challenging 8 mile course with over 25 obstacles in extremely muddy, wet conditions.

I now take part in a variety of exercise and sports that my journey in the fitness industry has given me the confidence to pursue over the last few years. This includes jujitsu, boxing, yoga and running. I’m a big believer in doing exercise that you enjoy but also takes you out of your comfort zone and challenges you both physically and mentally in various ways.

Getting the balance right between living a healthy lifestyle and having fun has always been important to me and something i advise my clients to also do. I believe combining many factors such as sleep, nutrition, exercise and stress management will allow you to become the best version of yourself, to live a healthier and happier lifestyle.
